FORK BUSHING BURNISHING

Suspension fork lower bushing burnishing is a process where we use a precision machine made tool to resize and correct any out-of-roundness that the lower leg bushings incurred during the manufacturing and installation from the factory.

This process helps increase small bump sensitivity, especially when paired with the the SKF low friction dual compound dust wipers, and it can help increase lower leg bushing life by allowing more oil to flow between the bushings and stanchions.

We currently offer burnishing on stanchion sizes of 32, 34, 35, 36, and 38mm.
